Paolo Maldini Technical Director of the Italian Football Federation

The President of the Italian Football Federation, Giovanni Malagò, announced the appointment of Italian football legend Paolo Maldini as Technical Director of the Italian Football Federation, after he officially agreed to take on the role.

Maldini will take on his duties in collaboration with Leonardo, who will serve as an advisor, as part of the new project to develop Italian football.

Malagò also assigned Maldini the presidency of 'Club Italia', a step aimed at enhancing the technical and administrative work of the Italian national teams.

Brazilian Leonardo Araújo will take on his new role as technical advisor for the senior Italian national team, as part of the comprehensive overhaul currently underway in Italian football.
