The Prince Moulay Abdallah Stadium in the capital Rabat was packed to capacity on Thursday with fans who watched the Morocco-France match via giant screens, as part of the 2026 World Cup quarter-finals.

The stadium's capacity exceeds 70,000 spectators, making the crowd attendance in the stands reflect the public interest in the historic encounter for the Moroccan national team.

Anadolu's reporter stated that the organizers installed giant screens inside the stadium to allow the fans to watch the match.

The stadium stands witnessed an enthusiastic atmosphere before and during the match, while the organizers arranged an artistic show preceding the encounter.

Last Saturday, the Moroccan team qualified for the World Cup quarter-finals for the second time in its history, after beating its Canadian counterpart 3-0 in the round of 16.

The Prince Moulay Abdallah Stadium is one of Morocco's most prominent stadiums and hosted the Africa Cup of Nations final, which was held in the kingdom between December 21, 2025 and January 18, 2026.
