France midfielder Adrien Rabiot affirmed that they fear no one, ahead of Tuesday's World Cup semi-final against Spain in Dallas, noting that they have not devised a special plan to limit the threat of talented Spanish winger Lamine Yamal. Rabiot said in the last training session before facing 'La Roja': 'We fear no one, naturally. Looking at our journey, I think we are reaching the semi-finals in the best possible conditions, meaning everything is positive. I think it would have been difficult to arrive in better conditions than this.' This came in response to Yamal's comments, who had stoked the media fire since Friday, telling Spanish TVE: 'If France has to fear anyone, it's us. We are the ones who knocked them out last time. We'll see what happens, but we are not afraid.' Rabiot, one of the pillars of France's midfield, also confirmed that there will be no special plan to stop Yamal, the young Barcelona winger (19 years old) who defeated France in the Euro 2024 semi-final (2-1) and the 2025 Nations League (5-4). He explained: 'We focus on the Spanish team as a whole, not on any one player. We know they are dangerous in all aspects, whether it's him or the attack line, possession of the ball, tight spaces near the penalty area, and combined play. So we must focus on these aspects.' The AC Milan player also emphasized harmony and cohesion within the French squad. He added: 'There is the matter of living together well. Off the pitch things are going excellently, and I think that constitutes a large part of this success. There are also things that brought us closer, such as the difficulties coach Didier Deschamps faced with the loss of his mother at the start of the World Cup, knowing that this is also his last tournament with the team, and there are many factors that make this seem like the right time.'
