Spain's gain was not limited to lifting the 2026 World Cup, but extended to huge economic gains that will reflect on the Spanish Football Federation, players, and sponsoring companies, after the global achievement turned into a starting point for a new phase of financial and investment returns.

The Spanish newspaper 'AS' reported that the Spanish Federation will receive $50 million (about 44 million euros) as a reward for winning the world title, in addition to the increase in the commercial value of the national team and the rise in revenues from sponsorship and advertising contracts signed before the start of the tournament.

The newspaper added that the title represents a strategic opportunity to enhance Spain's brand in front of international sponsors, as partner companies will achieve an immediate return on their investments thanks to millions of TV viewers and the great momentum the team achieved through digital platforms, which also enhances opportunities to attract new global partners in the coming period.

AS pointed out that talk about the financial crisis previously raised within the Spanish Federation has become a thing of the past, after it succeeded in building a sponsorship system comprising 35 companies, led by Adidas as a technical partner, along with major companies such as Ibercaja, Mapfre, Iberdrola, Halcon, and Movistar, which gave the Federation a strong economic base before winning the World Cup.

The Federation was not the only beneficiary of this success, as the newspaper explained that the players will receive 45% of the value of the financial reward for winning the World Cup, i.e., approximately $19.67 million in total, which is equivalent to about 756,000 euros per player from the 26-man squad, in addition to the revenues they obtain from advertising campaigns and sponsorships associated with the national team.
