Al-Nassr received new support during its external camp in the Portuguese capital Lisbon, as a Saudi national team player is close to joining the team.

Al-Nassr is undergoing the second phase of the preparatory camp for the new season in the Portuguese city of Lisbon since July 19, which continues until departure on August 5.

Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiah said that Nawaf Boushal, the Al-Nassr full-back, has recovered from the injury he sustained during his participation with the Saudi national team in the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Boushal had suffered a torn ligament injury during the goalless draw with Cape Verde in the third round of the group stage, undergoing a rehabilitation program despite the national team players receiving a holiday.

The newspaper clarified that the Saudi full-back will join Al-Nassr's camp in Portugal the day after tomorrow, Saturday, along with his colleagues in the 'Green' squad: Nawaf Al-Aqidi, Abdulelah Al-Amri, and Abdullah Al-Khaibari.

Upon his arrival in Lisbon, Boushal will undergo a medical examination to ensure his fitness and readiness to participate with the team in training and friendly and official matches.

Al-Nassr is preparing for a friendly match against Spanish Merida on July 28, then Portuguese Estrela Amadora on August 1, before concluding the camp with a match against Spanish Almeria on August 4.

It is worth noting that 'Al-Alamy' started the external camp with a surprise loss to Benfica's reserve team 1-2, in a match that saw the participation of many non-key players.
