The number of sports academy registrations in the Kingdom grew by 29% by the end of the second quarter of 2026, according to the quarterly business sector bulletin, with the number of active registrations reaching 4,218, compared to 3,255 in the same period in 2025.

The data showed that Riyadh region topped the Kingdom in terms of the number of sports academy registrations with 1,909, followed by Makkah region with 1,093, then the Eastern Province with 497, then Madinah region with 219, and Qassim with 130.

The bulletin revealed that registrations for amusement and gaming cities grew by 18% by the end of Q2 2026, reaching 9,117 registrations, compared to 7,710 at the end of Q2 2025.

The data indicated that Riyadh region led the Kingdom in amusement and gaming city registrations with 3,932, followed by Makkah region with 2,489, then the Eastern Province with 1,002, followed by Madinah region with 444, and Asir region with 406.
