Officially... Dutch international Samervil becomes Al-Hilali for four years

Al-Hilal Club announced on Friday that the club's board of directors, chaired by His Highness Prince Nawaf bin Saad, finalized the signing of Dutch midfielder "Cruzensio Samervil" from English club "West Ham United" to represent Al-Hilal's first football team for a period of four years. The signing ceremony took place on Friday evening at the team’s training camp currently held in Austria.

The board of directors of Al-Hilal Club expressed its appreciation for His Royal Highness Prince Alwaleed bin Talal's sponsorship of the full value of the transfer deal for "Samervil", extending his generous support and initiatives in all fields, and his continuous contributions to supporting Al-Hilal's journey, enhancing its status, and consolidating its leadership on all levels.

"Samervil", aged 24, is considered one of the most prominent attacking midfielders in the English Premier League and the continent of Europe. He has represented several clubs, most notably "Feyenoord" (Netherlands), "Leeds United" (England), in addition to "West Ham" (England).

"Samervil" progressed through the ranks of international participation with the national teams at all levels, representing the Netherlands' U16, U17, U18, U19, and U21 teams, in addition to representing the senior national team. His most recent international appearances were in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which concluded recently in the United States, where he scored two goals for his country in the tournament.

"Samervil" has joined the team’s ongoing training camp in Austria in preparation for the new sports season.
