French defenders William Saliba, who suffers from recurring back pain, and Dayot Upamecano, who sustained a foot injury, remained under medical care on Saturday during training at Bentley University near Boston, three days before the World Cup semifinal against Spain on Tuesday.

However, the health condition of the Blues' central defensive duo does not worry the coaching staff, who can count on their captain Kylian Mbappé, who left with an ankle injury during the quarterfinal against Morocco, but he was already present at the training session in the team camp.

During the 15-minute media open session, the French star did a light jog around the pitch accompanied by the starting players who played against the 'Atlas Lions,' while the two center-backs and Mike Maignan, who trained with the other goalkeepers, were absent. As for the substitute players, they trained normally under the guidance of Guy Stéphan, assistant coach Didier Deschamps. Saliba and Upamecano had already undergone a light training program by the coaching staff at the start of the tournament after France's first match against Senegal (3-1).
