The Saudi Arabian Football Federation announced the formation of the Election Committee, based on the provisions of the Statutes and the Election Regulations, following the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting held on July 8, 2026.

The Federation explained that the committee includes Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Qunian as chairman, Bandar bin Abdulhadi Al-Humaidani as member, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Banajama as member, and Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Fadhli as member, with Issa bin Rabi' Al-Rayes serving as secretary of the committee as the representative of the Legal Department.

The Federation pointed out that the formation of the committee comes in accordance with the provisions of Article Five, paragraphs 1 and 4 of the Election Regulations, stressing that the Election Committee will announce the timeline for the electoral process in the coming days.
