The Saudi Football Federation revealed on Sunday the mechanism for organizing the work of technical staff in clubs for the new season.

According to what was published by the official account of the Saudi Football Federation on platform "X", the mechanism to be followed in the 2026-2027 sports season will be as follows:

Upload the technical staff data via the MySAFF platform, then study the request and ensure compliance with criteria, after which issue the professional license card, and finally approve the technical staff for participation.

Steps and conditions required to be met

The Saudi Federation explained that the goal of organizing the work of technical staff is to empower national cadres and ensure their presence within the technical staff, in addition to developing the technical work environment in line with best practices, regulating the issuance of professional license cards, and automating registration procedures through the MySAFF electronic system.

The Saudi Federation indicated that the most prominent regulatory controls are that no coach has the right to work without a professional license card, in addition to the fact that the card's validity extends for one sports season, and a non-Saudi coach is not allowed to train two teams during one sports season, and it is required that the assistant coach be of Saudi nationality with the possibility of adding another assistant coach, and the coach and assistant coach in the third and fourth divisions must be fully Saudi.
