Scaloni: I Wish to Lock Yamal Up Before World Cup Final
Lionel Scaloni, the head coach of the Argentine national team, stressed the danger of Spanish star Lamine Yamal, asserting that he is an exceptional player.
Yamal, one of the most prominent weapons of the Spanish national team, is expected to be in the World Cup final tomorrow Sunday against Argentina.
Although Yamal has not yet shown his usual best levels, he continues to regain full fitness after recovering from a hamstring injury.
News18 published Scaloni's comments during the press conference, where he said, 'How can we stop Yamal? I wish we could lock Lamine in his room.'
He added, 'Yamal is truly an exceptional player. This boy is a treasure for football, he is still very young, and has a lot to offer to this game.'
He continued, 'Yamal is a talent that will bring a lot of joy to Spain in the future, but we hope that won't happen on Sunday. He, like Lionel Messi, is one of the players who are extremely difficult to mark and stop.'
In response to the question 'What is your plan to stop Yamal?'.. Scaloni: I wish to lock him in his room 👀🔥 pic.twitter.com/oQabdkUsXU
