Spain defender Porro follows Hierro's path by scoring twice in the World Cup
Pedro Porro, defender of Spain, scored the goal that secured his country's victory against France "2-0" in the semifinals of the World Cup football tournament.
Porro's goal was his second in the World Cup as an international defender, after he found the net against Austria in the round of 32 match of the tournament.
Pedro became the second Spanish defender to score two goals in a single World Cup edition after former star Fernando Hierro, who scored more than once in the World Cups of France 1998 and South Korea/Japan 2002.
Spain qualified for the final scheduled for July 19 in New York, against the winner of the other semifinal between England and Argentina on Wednesday.
