Spain qualified for the Round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup by defeating Austria 3-0 on Thursday evening in the Round of 32.

Mikel Oyarzabal scored the opener for Spain in the 36th minute, then Pedro Porro added the second goal in the 66th minute, before Oyarzabal returned to score his second personal goal and Spain's third in the 89th minute.

Spain will face the winner of the match between Portugal and Croatia, who play in the early hours of Friday morning, in the Round of 16.

Spain, along with Mexico, is the only team that has not conceded any goals so far in the tournament.

Spain topped their group, which included Cape Verde, Uruguay, and Saudi Arabia, with 7 points, ahead of runners-up Cape Verde, who qualified in second place.
