Al-Ittihad Club has initiated new moves in the summer transfer market to strengthen the midfield with a player possessing international experience and the ability to make a difference, as the management seeks to prepare the team in the best possible shape before the start of the upcoming season.

According to Turkish reports, the Saudi club has prioritized one of the most prominent Moroccan football stars during this period, amid anticipation of the outcome of negotiations between the relevant parties.

The Turkish channel "lue" reported that Al-Ittihad's management is preparing to submit an official offer to Fenerbahçe to sign Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

The channel added that the expected offer amounts to 20 million euros, a step reflecting Al-Ittihad's seriousness in concluding the deal during the current transfer window.

Reports indicated that Amrabat's transfer to the Roshn League would become possible if Fenerbahçe and the player agree to the offer from the Saudi club, with negotiations still in their preliminary stages so far.

Amrabat is considered one of the most prominent Moroccan midfielders in recent years, having attracted significant attention during his appearances with the Moroccan national team, especially at the 2022 World Cup, before continuing his professional career in European stadiums.

If Al-Ittihad succeeds in completing the deal, the team will add an element with extensive international and European experience, which aligns with the club's desire to strengthen its squad with elements capable of competing locally and continentally in the new season.
