Triple boost for England ahead of World Cup clash with Norway
England received a morale boost on the eve of their World Cup quarter-final against Norway, after Declan Rice, Marc Guehi and Reece James returned to training on Friday.
James missed the last three matches after suffering a hamstring injury, which caused a headache for German coach Thomas Tuchel at right-back, given the limited other options in that position.

It appears that the Chelsea captain is on his way back to the starting lineup, with Jarrel Quansah suspended after being sent off in the thrilling 3-2 win over Mexico in the round of 16. Both Guehi and Rice played the full match in Mexico City, however, the two players missed training alongside James on Wednesday. Manchester City defender Guehi, who could face his club teammate Erling Haaland if he plays, also suffered a hamstring strain. Arsenal midfielder Rice is also struggling with a hamstring problem, and was also affected by a stomach bug earlier in the week.
