(CNN)-- US President Donald Trump was present at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, which hosts the 2026 World Cup final between Argentina and Spain, on Sunday.

Trump was in the stadium booth alongside his wife Melania Trump, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, and King Felipe VI of Spain.

A video showed former Brazilian player Ronaldo (the Phenomenon) bringing the World Cup trophy to where Donald Trump was.

At that moment, the US President touched the trophy from the stadium booth, shortly before it was handed to the winning team.

Trump will be on the podium alongside Infantino, as he will give the trophy to the winning team, similar to the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, which was won by English club Chelsea.
