Al-Ettifaq Club announced the extension of its contract with Scottish defender Jack Hendry, keeping him with the team for two more seasons.

Al-Ettifaq's social media accounts posted a video of the player addressing fans on Saturday, saying: "Hello Al-Ettifaq fans, I hope you are well and as excited for the upcoming season as I am. I would like to thank you for the great support you have given me over the past three years."

The player concluded his message by saying: "I greatly appreciate that, and I am pleased to share with you the news of my signing of my new contract. I am very excited to spend two more seasons with this club, and I hope it will be a successful season for all of us. Thank you, and see you soon."

Al-Ettifaq had signed the 31-year-old player during the summer transfer window of the 2023/24 season from Belgian club Club Brugge.

The Scottish international defender has played 82 matches for Al-Ettifaq since joining, scoring one goal and providing two assists for his teammates.
