The Spanish national team imposed its dominance on the ideal lineup for the semifinal matches of the 2026 World Cup, after six of its players secured places in the list announced by the "Sofa Score" network, following the conclusion of the final four matches.

The semifinals saw Spain and Argentina qualify for the final match, after the Spanish team surpassed its French counterpart by two goals to nil, while the Argentine team knocked out England with a 2-1 result.

The ideal lineup was devoid of any French player, while the Argentine team was represented by four players led by captain Lionel Messi, while the English team was satisfied with only one player. The lineup included: Unai Simón in goal, with the defensive quartet Pedro Porro, Pau Cubarsí, Aymeric Laporte, and Marc Cucurella in front of him. In midfield came Rodri, and Leo Anderson from England, Enzo Fernández, and Leandro Paredes, while the attack consisted of Lautaro Martínez and Lionel Messi.
