Brazilian star Neymar da Silva replaced his sad farewell to the World Cup and his announcement of international retirement with controversial clips of him roaming around Universal Orlando, days after the resounding defeat against Norway.

Neymar was seen riding an electric scooter for people with special needs inside the Universal Orlando resort in Florida, just days after his country's controversial elimination from the 2026 World Cup by Norway.

In clips described as 'strange' from the famous amusement park, the former Barcelona star appeared wearing gray shorts, a black and white shirt, a cap and sunglasses, while riding the electric scooter surrounded by security guards.

An eyewitness told the British newspaper The Sun: 'No one initially realized it was him, then people crowded around him. I don't know why he was on the electric scooter, but it was very hot.'

The witness added: 'We realized he was there when we were in a restaurant in another part of the park, then we heard a security guard say it was Neymar, so we went to the other part of the park. We passed by there, they thought we were security, so we stayed relatively close.'

These scenes come days after Neymar, 34, announced his retirement from international play following Brazil's surprise elimination by Norway, in a match that will give the latter a quarterfinal meeting with England.
