Jude Bellingham brought England back into the match, scoring the equalizer (1-1) in the second minute of first-half stoppage time, during the clash against Norway on Saturday evening in the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup.

The Norwegian team had opened the scoring through a brilliant strike from Andreas Schjelderup in the 36th minute, before the Real Madrid star equalized for the 'Three Lions'.

Bellingham's goal once again confirmed he is the man for big occasions, as he has scored 8 of his 11 goals for the England national team in major tournaments, a rate of 73%, the highest percentage of any player who has scored 5 or more goals for England.

The Real Madrid star also increased his tally to 5 goals in the 2026 World Cup, meaning that he and Harry Kane (6) have scored 11 of England's 12 goals in the tournament so far.

Never before have two England players each scored 5 or more goals in a single World Cup edition.

England reached the quarter-finals after their thrilling 3-2 win over Mexico, while Norway ousted Brazil with a 2-1 victory.
