أشعل النجم الإسباني الشاب لامين يامال فتيل مواجهة نصف نهائي مونديال كأس العالم 2026 بين منتخبي إسبانيا وفرنسا، عندما أدلى بتصريحات مثيرة حول المواجهة المرتقبة بينهما، إذ سيلتقي المنتخبان للمرة الثالثة توالياً في الأدوار الإقصائية للبطولات الكبرى.

وذكر يامال عقب المباراة تصريحات مثيرة ستشعل الأجواء المحيطة بمواجهة فرنسا في نصف النهائي قائلاً: «إن المنتخب الإسباني هو الوحيد الذي لا يخشى فرنسا»، وذلك بعد أن ظهر رفاق كيليان مبابي فريقاً مرشحاً بقوة للتتويج باللقب.

وقال: «الجميع ينتظر هذه المباراة، كنا أيضاً نتطلع بشدة لموعدها، وبالنسبة لي، نحن وفرنسا أفضل منتخبين في كأس العالم».

وتابع: «دون أي خوف، أعتقد أنه إذا كان هناك من يمكنه مواجهة منتخب فرنسا بكل ثقة، فهو نحن، منتخبنا هو الوحيد الذي لا يهابه».

وتأتي تصريحات يامال قبل 4 أيام من ملاقاة فرنسا، المنتخب الذي حقق الانتصار في كل مبارياته حتى الآن وهو الوحيد الذي ينفرد بهذا الإنجاز بين 48 منتخباً شارك في النهائيات.

وكان لامين يامال هدافاً في آخر انتصارين لإسبانيا على فرنسا، إذ سجل في فوز بلاده في نصف نهائي يورو 2024، ثم في 2025، في نصف نهائي دوري الأمم الأوروبية.

The young Spanish star Lamine Yamal ignited the anticipation for the semi-final match of the 2026 World Cup between Spain and France with his provocative statements about the upcoming clash. This will be the third consecutive meeting between the two teams in the knockout stages of major tournaments.

Yamal mentioned after the match some exciting remarks that will heat up the atmosphere surrounding the semi-final against France, saying: "The Spanish national team is the only one that does not fear France," following the impressive performances of Kylian Mbappé's team, which is a strong contender for the title.

He stated: "Everyone is looking forward to this match; we were also eagerly anticipating it. For me, we and France are the two best teams in the World Cup."

He added: "Without any fear, I believe that if anyone can face the French national team with confidence, it is us. Our team is the only one that does not fear them."

Yamal's comments come four days before facing France, the team that has won all its matches so far and is the only one to achieve this feat among the 48 teams that participated in the finals.

Lamine Yamal was a scorer in Spain's last two victories over France, having scored in his country's win in the semi-finals of Euro 2024, and then again in 2025, in the semi-finals of the UEFA Nations League.
