Lamine Yamal, the Barcelona star, is experiencing days full of happiness and satisfaction after achieving one of his brightest dreams at the age of 19 by winning the 2026 World Cup with the Spanish national team.
Yamal's journey in the World Cup was not easy at all, especially since he joined the Spanish national team camp while recovering from an injury to the posterior muscle of the left thigh.
Sport newspaper published statements from Yamal's father, Mounir Nasraoui, given to Mundo Deportivo, in which he said: "From the moment of his birth, I knew he would be a star. Any father feels that, and every father hopes his son is the best."
Nasraoui confirmed that one of his main goals in life is to see Lamine happy both on and off the pitch.
The player's father added, praising his son: "He is the best in everything, not only in football but in love, as a person, and in every aspect. The main reason for that is that he has the blessing of God, which is very important and must be appreciated."
Regarding life in the Rocafonda neighborhood, he commented: "This neighborhood is the best in the world and in Spain because we are all equal and carry the same love for everyone. Long live Rocafonda 304, it is a symbol and reference for all."
He also spoke about the famous photo that brought together Lamine and Lionel Messi in a campaign by Sport newspaper in collaboration with UNICEF in 2007.
Mounir Nasraoui said: "Perhaps Lamine was the one who gave the blessing to Messi. That photo was just a beautiful coincidence in life."
