Zalzouli's agent to 'Aajil': We received an official offer from a Saudi club and we evaluate offers
Khavier Jareedo, the agent of Moroccan star Abdessamad Zalzouli, revealed that his client has entered advanced negotiations with a top Saudi Professional League club, in preparation for a move during the current summer transfer window.
Abdessamad Zalzouli was absent from the ranks of the "Atlas Lions" in the 2026 World Cup finals; the Moroccan national team bid farewell to the tournament in the quarterfinals against the French team, due to an injury that prevented his participation, as he suffered a sprain of the medial collateral ligament of his right knee during a friendly match against Norway, which required intensive treatment in France.
Jareedo said in exclusive statements to 'Aajil': 'We have received an official offer from a top club in the Saudi Roshn League, and we are currently studying and evaluating all available offers to choose the most suitable one that achieves the player's professional aspirations in the next stage.'
Reports indicate that Al Hilal is among the most interested in signing the Moroccan winger to bolster its ranks, but negotiations are still in sensitive stages amid interest from European clubs seeking his services, making the coming days decisive in determining his next destination, especially with the player's desire to regain full readiness before the start of the new season.
Abdessamad moved to Real Betis in the summer of 2023 for 7.5 million euros. Under the deal, Barcelona retained 50% of his future sale rights, a percentage that decreased to 20% last summer.
