"Amd" Becomes the World's Largest Fintech Hackathon
The second edition of the "Amd" Hackathon, organized in partnership between Tuwaiq Academy and Alinma Bank, has become the world's largest hackathon in the field of financial technology, as registered in the Guinness World Records, with more than 6,000 participants and over 2,800 teams from various regions of the Kingdom.
This record is an extension of a series of achievements by Tuwaiq Academy.
Participants presented more than 2,800 innovative projects in the field of financial technology across six diverse tracks, including generative artificial intelligence for fintech, customer experience, financial education, open banking, gamification, and financial regulations.
This record is an extension of a series of achievements by Tuwaiq Academy in the Guinness World Records through its various camps and technical competitions, reflecting the advanced position of the Kingdom and its global leadership in organizing the largest technical events and activities.
It is worth noting that the "Amd" Hackathon set a record in its first edition in 2025 as the largest hackathon in the city of Riyadh, before achieving an unprecedented global achievement in its second edition in 2026 by being registered as the world's largest hackathon in financial technology, affirming its status as a leading and increasingly successful platform in this field at the Kingdom and global levels.
