Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra Leaks Show Crease-Less Screen with Stunning Appearance
Samsung is set to unveil its new generation of foldable phones on July 22, expected to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8, along with the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.
Despite many previously leaked images, a new real-world leak offers the first realistic look at the crease-free screen of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra in use.
The leaker account 'Momentary Digital' posted a video on the Chinese platform Weibo of the anticipated phone, showing the screen without creases during use, which looks impressive, according to a report by Android Authority, as seen by Al Arabiya Business.
The video shows the phone from various angles, with no sign of a crease on the screen at all.
The video continues to showcase the screen while playing a video, and even in this case, it is extremely difficult to notice any crease on the screen.
Samsung appears to have succeeded in finding a way to make the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra's screen truly free of a crease.
However, it should be noted that it is not known how many times the phone was folded and unfolded before the video was filmed, as the crease on the screen becomes more noticeable over time due to folding, so a crease may appear on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra's screen after regular use.
Nevertheless, this leak gives an optimistic impression that Samsung flagship foldable phone users may finally get a crease-free screen.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and come with a 5,000 mAh battery.
It is also expected to feature a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
Leaked pricing details for Samsung's upcoming foldable phones in the US also suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra price may increase by $100 compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 7, reaching $2,099.
