Honor Prepares to Launch New Smart Assistant 'YOYO Next' with MagicOS 11
Honor plans to introduce a new generation of smart assistant named YOYO Next alongside the release of its upcoming MagicOS 11 interface, according to new leaks that appeared on Chinese social media platforms.
According to a leaked image of the settings page on a Honor phone, two options for the smart assistant appeared: the traditional version "YOYO" and the new option "YOYO Next".
The leaks indicate that the new assistant may be a development or rebranding of the "YOYO Claw" feature previously mentioned.
YOYO Next is expected to offer advanced control capabilities across various apps and services more broadly than the current version, enabling it to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously without facing delays or slowness.
The expected features also include a long-term memory system inspired by "SMART RAM" to improve app efficiency and performance.
The leaked list also includes a built-in skills store that allows users to manage AI models and leverage them in various scenarios, with the ability to customize the assistant according to daily usage needs, in addition to other improvements to the current assistant.
The Honor MagicOS 11 update supports customized AI models with the YOYO Claw feature.
So far, Honor has not issued official confirmations about these features. However, the leaks are based on sources known for publishing accurate details about the company's plans, reinforcing the expectation that YOYO Next will soon represent a qualitative leap in the AI experience on Honor phones.
