However, if you accidentally buy in-game items, or if one of your children does so, you can request a refund in Fortnite through a few simple steps.

How to Get a Refund in Fortnite When You Accidentally Buy Items:

If you discover that your child is making in-game purchases without your permission, or if you bought something you don't want and decide to cancel the purchase, Epic Games provides an easy way for you to claim and get a refund for the money you spent on items.

How to Get a Refund Directly from Within Fortnite:

You can easily get a refund in Fortnite; it only takes a few clicks. However, the downside of this method is that you can only use it three times—not three times a month or three times a year, but only three times total per account for life.

Launch Fortnite on your gaming platform, computer, or smartphone, then open the main menu.

Click the gear icon to open the Settings menu.

Click the icon to open the Account and Privacy settings page, then click the 'Submit a Request' option.

This will show a list of all items you've purchased in the game in the last 30 days. Find the item you want to return and select it from the list.

Choose a reason for the refund request, then on the next screen click 'Submit Return Request'.

A final confirmation screen will appear warning you that you only have three return requests for life. If you are sure you want to proceed, click 'OK'.

You will then see the return request approval screen, which will tell you how many products have been added to your account.

Click 'OK'.

Note: You can only return a total of three products using this method, and consumed items are not eligible for return.
