King Abdulaziz Foundation Signs Cooperation Memorandum to Develop Digital Services

King Abdulaziz Foundation and Sawa Information Technology Company signed a cooperation memorandum on Wednesday, 23 Muharram 1448 AH (July 8, 2026), with the aim of enhancing collaboration in developing digital initiatives that support historical and knowledge content, and leveraging modern technologies to improve and enrich user experience.

The memorandum was signed on behalf of King Abdulaziz Foundation by Mr. Abdulrahman bin Saud Al-Zaid, Director of the Executive Department for Media and Communication, and on behalf of Sawa Information Technology Company by its CEO, Engineer Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Dhukeer. The cooperation includes designing and developing integrated digital solutions, preparing knowledge content, and building supportive platforms and technical systems, contributing to improving the quality of digital services and providing reliable content through interactive environments that follow best technical practices.

After the signing, Mr. Abdulrahman bin Saud Al-Zaid, Director of the Executive Department for Media and Communication at King Abdulaziz Foundation, explained that this memorandum comes within the framework of the vision of His Excellency the CEO of the Foundation, Mr. Turki bin Mohammed Al-Shuwaier, aimed at employing modern technologies to develop methods of presenting historical content, thereby reaching broader segments of society and enhancing the presence of national history in interactive environments.

He added that the Foundation is working to present national history through innovative methods that align with the knowledge reception patterns of the youth, and contribute to attracting young people through interactive digital experiences that combine scientific reliability and ease of access, thereby enhancing their connection to the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its cultural heritage.
