Kudo Supports Global Participation of Saudi Inventor Lamia Al-Zubaidi at ITEX 2026 in Malaysia
Kudo, a leading fast-food chain in Saudi Arabia, sponsored its employee Lamia Al-Zubaidi's participation in ITEX 2026 in Malaysia, where she won a silver medal for her smart table accessory invention.
Extending its commitment to supporting national talents and empowering Saudi youth, Kudo Food and Catering Company, a leader in the fast-food sector, announced its support for the participation of Saudi inventor and its service crew member Lamia Al-Zubaidi in the International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX) 2026, held from May 18 to 20, 2026 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in the Malaysian capital.
Lamia Al-Zubaidi's participation came after she developed an innovation consisting of a smart accessory for restaurant tables, aimed at improving operational efficiency and enhancing the customer experience in the restaurant and hospitality sector. Her invention won a silver medal in the Automation and Manufacturing category, an achievement that reflects the great potential possessed by Saudi youth in the fields of innovation and technical development.
This initiative is part of Kudo's approach to supporting its employees and enabling them to develop their ideas and ambitions, believing that investment in human capital is one of the most important elements of success and sustainability, in addition to enhancing the presence of Saudi competencies in international forums, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in supporting innovation and developing human capabilities.
