HMD Global announced a new Nokia phone from the Android Go Edition category, the Nokia C1, priced at no more than $59.

The Nokia C1, which the company targets at emerging markets, features a 5.45-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 960×480 pixels, and comes with a thick glass layer to protect the screen from scratches.

The phone has a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with the ability to expand up to 64GB via microSD memory cards.

The Nokia C1 has a 5MP front camera with LED flash, and the rear camera also offers the same resolution. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie (Go edition) from Google. It supports dual SIM cards and has a 2,500 mAh battery.
