Buraydah, Muharram 26, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 11, 2026, SPA – The project "Smart Institutional Governance Platform Supported by Artificial Intelligence for Higher Education" at Qassim University has achieved an international accomplishment by obtaining an excellence certificate at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), among 1,595 projects submitted from various countries around the world. This recognition confirms the university's leadership in adopting advanced technical solutions and promoting digital transformation in the higher education sector, by developing smart platforms that contribute to raising institutional performance efficiency and improving the beneficiary experience. The project aims to provide a smart institutional governance platform that acts as a unified and reliable communication engine around the clock, linking all university staff and various internal entities, thereby enhancing the speed of access to information and accuracy of decision-making. The platform relies on an advanced multi-agent AI architecture, representing the internal entities of the university, and provides accurate and immediate answers based on approved policies and regulations, ensuring the reliability and consistency of information.
