Unified Digital Platform for Scouting: Saudi Scouts Association Calls for Early Registration
The Saudi Arabian Scout Association launched the Unified Scout Data Platform, a step aimed at automating scouting work, enhancing organizational efficiency, and achieving digital and institutional transformation, contributing to the development of the scouting system in the Kingdom, unifying its procedures and data, and improving the quality of services provided to its members. The association explained that the platform targets all scouting personnel in the Kingdom, including scout leaders (male and female), youth and young people, scout pioneers, and volunteers, providing an integrated electronic system for registering and managing member data, generating reports and statistics, supporting planning and monitoring, highlighting scouting initiatives and programs, as well as unifying procedures and data across various scouting sectors.
It added that the platform aims to build an accurate and comprehensive database of all members of the scouting movement in the Kingdom, facilitate the issuance of scout cards and official certificates, organize participation in national and international events based on documented records, track the leadership and training path of leaders (male and female), ease communication and delivery of programs, training opportunities, and events, in addition to supporting planning and development, identifying and utilizing scouting competencies and expertise. The association called on all those involved in scouting to register early on the platform by scanning the QR Code published on its official accounts on social media platforms.
