The National Center for Meteorology warned of a wave of dust and active surface winds affecting the Eastern Province and parts of Riyadh and Najran, starting from today, Sunday, until next Tuesday, causing a decrease in horizontal visibility.

The center explained that the weather condition leads to noticeable stirring of dust and sand during daylight hours, noting that this effect is particularly concentrated in open areas and highways.

It clarified that the geographical scope of the condition includes the southern and eastern parts of the Riyadh region, noting that the impact of surface winds and stirred dust extends to reach the Najran region.
