Places and Times: 'Red Alert' for Heavy Rain in 3 Regions
The National Center of Meteorology issued a 'red alert' in its weather report for heavy rain in Al-Baha, Jazan, and Asir regions during the evening today, Thursday, lasting until 8 PM. It will be accompanied by: very strong winds, near-zero horizontal visibility, hail, flash floods, and thunderbolts. The warning in Al-Baha includes: Al-Hajrah, Al-Mikhwah, Fara' Ghamid Al-Zinad, Qilwah, Al-Baha, Al-Aqiq, Al-Qura, Al-Mandaq, Baljurashi, and Bani Hasan. While in Jazan it includes: Al-Harth, Al-Da'ir, Al-Rayth, Al-Ardah, Al-Aydabi, Fifa, and Harub. In Asir it includes: Rijal Alma', Mahayel, Abha, Ahad Rufaydah, Khamis Mushait, Al-Harjah, Al-Rabu', Al-Farsha, Sarat Abidah, and Dhahran Al-Janub.
Rain and dust in the Eastern Region
The National Center of Meteorology warned in its weather report of moderate rain and raised dust in the Eastern Region during the evening today, Thursday. The rain will last until 10 PM in Al-Id and Dhublutayn. It will be accompanied by: very strong winds, near-zero visibility, hail, flash floods, and thunderbolts.

Meanwhile, raised dust continues in Al-Ahsa, Al-Id, and Buqayq until 5 PM. The associated impacts include: active winds and near-zero horizontal visibility (1–3 kilometers).
Weather on Thursday
The National Center of Meteorology expects in its weather report for today, Thursday, across the Kingdom's regions, continued medium to heavy thunder rain accompanied by hail showers and active winds over parts of Jazan and Asir regions, extending to the southern parts of Al-Baha region. Meanwhile, light rain is likely over the southern parts of the Eastern Region. The impact of active winds raising dust and sand continues over parts of those areas, as well as parts of the Eastern, Riyadh, Al-Madinah, and Tabuk regions, and the coastal road from Jeddah to Jazan. High temperatures persist over parts of the Eastern and Riyadh regions.
