The National Center for Meteorology warned today of a heatwave with temperatures ranging between 49 and 50 degrees Celsius, accompanied by active winds hitting the Eastern Region, resulting in dust and thick suspended particles and a noticeable decrease in horizontal visibility ranging between 3 and 5 kilometers on highways and open areas.

The weather conditions include the cities of Dammam and Dhahran, and the governorates of Hafr Al-Batin, Al-Khafji, Al-Nairyah, Qaryat Al-Ulya, Jubail, Ras Tanura, Al-Qatif, Al-Khobar, Buqayq, Al-Midad, Al-Ahsa, Al-Hajar, and their affiliated centers.

The center explained that these weather conditions will continue until six in the evening today.
