National Center of Meteorology Warns of Strong Winds and Raised Dust in Makkah Region Provinces
The National Center of Meteorology warned today of strong winds and raised dust affecting a number of provinces in the Makkah region, leading to a decrease in horizontal visibility and rising waves. The Center explained that the strong winds, with speeds ranging between 40 and 49 km/h, affect the provinces of Jeddah and Rabigh, while the provinces of Al Lith, Al Qunfudhah, Al Kamil, Khulais, in addition to Bahra (Al Shu'aybah), open areas, and highways are affected by raised dust that limits horizontal visibility. The Center indicated that the situation will continue, God willing, until 6:00 p.m.
