Seven Palestinians, including medical staff, were wounded on Friday in attacks by the Israeli army using drones and direct gunfire in northern and central Gaza.
This comes amid ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in effect in the strip since October 10, 2025.
In the northern Gaza Strip, a medical source told Anadolu that three Palestinians from the staff of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia were wounded when a quadcopter drone dropped a bomb on them while they were working in the hospital courtyard.
The source explained that two of the wounded are in critical condition, adding that they were transferred to Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City for treatment.
Kamal Adwan Hospital is one of the facilities operating with very limited capacity after being completely destroyed during Israeli army incursions into the area in late 2024.
The hospital is also located in an area considered 'dangerous' due to its proximity to Israeli army control points behind the so-called 'Yellow Line' in Beit Lahia.
For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza condemned in a statement 'the continued systematic attacks and targeting of health facilities and medical staff,' stressing that these practices endanger the lives of workers and patients and disrupt the health system.
The ministry called on the United Nations, international and humanitarian organizations, and all relevant parties to 'provide urgent protection for health facilities and medical staff, stop these attacks, and put an end to the ongoing violations against the health sector.'
Local sources also told Anadolu that Israeli vehicles and drones fired heavily at civilian homes in the al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, but no injuries were reported in that area.
In central Gaza, a medical source told Anadolu that four Palestinians, including two children, were wounded by Israeli army gunfire east of the Bureij refugee camp.
Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement have resulted in the deaths of 1,092 Palestinians and injuries to 3,507 others as of Thursday, according to data from the Gaza Ministry of Health.
