During the NATO summit in Turkey, US President Donald Trump stated that the Memorandum of Understanding with Iran had 'ended,' following a series of strikes across the region.
There has been little progress on the 14-point agreement that mediators have been working on since mid-June, due to the MOU being so vague that it left ample room for misinterpretation and confusion.
