Worst in 20 years: Dead and missing as wildfires spread in Spain
Spanish authorities have evacuated residents from their homes as they battle the worst wildfires in more than 20 years.
Officials say the blaze has killed at least 12 people, while 23 others remain missing. But there are fears that strong gusts of wind could spread the fire, which has consumed an estimated 30 square kilometers.
This comes as Europe experiences a record heatwave, which has also sparked wildfires in France and Portugal.
