America Reveals Targets of '90-Minute' Wave on Iran
The US military announced on Wednesday that it had completed the latest series of strikes against Iranian targets, which it said resulted in 'further undermining Iran's ability to attack commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.'
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a statement on X that it 'launched precision-guided munitions targeting coastal defense systems and cruise missile storage and launch sites on Greater Tunb Island during this 90-minute wave.'
The US military had earlier on Wednesday announced that it had begun a new wave of airstrikes on Iran at 6:00 AM Eastern Time (10:00 AM GMT).

The US Central Command said in a statement on X: 'The strikes aim to continue weakening the military capabilities used by Iranian forces to attack commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.'
US President Donald Trump had told Fox News on Tuesday that he would expand the scope of US strikes on Iran next week to include power plants and bridges if Tehran does not reach an agreement.
Trump stated in an interview with Fox News: 'Next week will be very bad for them because next week power plants will be targeted. Next week bridges will be targeted,' as reported by AFP.
