The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) announced the allocation of more than $4 million from the Sudan Humanitarian Fund to support the emergency response in El Obeid city, covering the areas of food security, nutrition, health care, water, sanitation, protection, and mine clearance.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs stated in a statement that drone attacks and the cholera outbreak are exacerbating the suffering of civilians in the Kordofan region, noting that these attacks resulted in the killing and injury of a number of civilians after a civilian vehicle was targeted near the village of "Al-Sha'tut" east of Jabrat al-Sheikh, followed by the targeting of a water truck in "Hamrat al-Sheikh" in North Kordofan state, causing additional disruption to water supplies.
