At least 27 people died in a fire that broke out in the Thai capital Bangkok on Sunday evening, according to Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul.

The Prime Minister said in a televised statement from the fire site, "27 bodies have been transported," and also mentioned that a number of injured people were taken to hospitals.
