The Burkina Faso national football team, nicknamed the Horses, is a member of the African Football Confederation. The team plays its home matches at the August 4 Stadium and wears green and white kits. Burkina Faso's best achievement is reaching the final of the Africa Cup of Nations in 2013, held in South Africa, where they finished as runners-up. The team has yet to qualify for the FIFA World Cup.
