In moments that took only seconds, a young man's journey seeking a livelihood turned into a tragedy that cast sorrow over an entire village in Luxor Governorate, after his life ended in an accident while handling one of the cattle, causing shock among his family and villagers who knew him for his good character and kind reputation.

A 26-year-old young man died today (Monday) in a tragic incident in the village of Zarnikh East, affiliated with the Esna district, south of Luxor Governorate, southern Egypt, after suffocating when a cow's rope wrapped around his neck while he was tying it.

Preliminary information reported that the young man, identified as Youssef Gaber, was carrying out his usual work handling cattle when the cow moved suddenly, causing the rope to wrap around his neck, leading to severe suffocation that caused him to lose consciousness before he passed away despite attempts to rescue him.

After security authorities received a report of the incident, security forces and relevant authorities moved to the accident site to conduct inspection and examination. The young man's body was also transferred to the morgue under the disposal of investigative authorities, and the necessary legal procedures were completed.

The competent authorities filed a report on the incident, while the Public Prosecution was notified and began investigations to determine the circumstances of the accident and confirm the exact cause of death according to necessary reports and examinations.

A state of sorrow descended on the residents of Zarnikh village and neighboring villages after news of the young man's death spread, as the villagers mourned him, affirming that he had good character and a kind reputation.
