The French Republic awarded the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Fahd bin Maayouf Al-Ruwaili, the Order of French Merit (Commander) on the occasion of the end of his mission, during a ceremony held by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the presence of a number of senior officials, members of the French Parliament, accredited ambassadors, and embassy staff.

The Director of North Africa and the Middle East at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Romaric Roüanien, expressed thanks to Ambassador Al-Ruwaili for his efforts during his tenure to strengthen Saudi-French relations, praising the cooperation and close partnerships witnessed in these relations at all levels.

For his part, Ambassador Al-Ruwaili expressed his gratitude for this high honor, which comes within the framework of the extensive progress witnessed in the relations between the two countries, and his aspiration to enhance them for the common interest of the two friendly countries.
