HRH Foreign Minister Meets Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defence
Jeddah, 22 Muharram 1448 AH, corresponding to 07 July 2026 (SPA) – His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met in Jeddah today with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defence of the Republic of Ireland, Ms. Helen McEntee. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields, contributing to expanding the horizons of partnership between the Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland and achieving common interests for both sides. The two sides also discussed the latest regional and international developments, efforts to de-escalate tensions and create conditions for reaching comprehensive peaceful solutions to end the conflict in the region, emphasizing the importance of continuing diplomatic efforts to address crises, restore stability to the region, and ensure the safety of waterways and freedom of navigation. They also explored opportunities to enhance economic and commercial cooperation, encourage public-private partnerships, and benefit from the opportunities provided by the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, thereby boosting trade exchange and mutual investments between the two countries. The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Saud bin Mohammed Al-Sati, and the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Branch in Makkah Region, Mr. Fared bin Saad Al-Shahri. // End // 14:23 T M 0103
