Iran's Ministry of Health announced Thursday that 14 people were killed and 78 injured as a result of US attacks on Iran over the past two days.
This was stated by Hossein Kermanpour, head of the Public Relations Center at the Ministry of Health, in a post on the US platform X.
Kermanpour said the United States launched attacks targeting five Iranian provinces on Wednesday and Thursday, saying: "So far, 14 people have been killed and 78 others injured in the attacks."
He noted that 47 of the injured are still receiving treatment in hospitals.
On Thursday, the United States announced it had launched strikes against Iran for the second day, while Tehran said it responded with missile attacks on US military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain.
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a statement that US forces "targeted about 90 Iranian military targets, including air defense systems, coastal surveillance assets, missile and drone storage sites, naval capabilities, and military logistics infrastructure along the Iranian coast."
