Iran Spares the US Base in Israel - Khaled bin Hamad Al-Malik
There are American bases in Kuwait and Bahrain, and likewise in Israel. However, when Iran wants to retaliate against an American attack on it, it rushes to assault the two Gulf states under the pretext of targeting the American bases, while the attack usually hits vital facilities in Kuwait and Bahrain, and does not reach the bases themselves.
But Iran — and this is important — does not target the American base in Israel to retaliate for the American attack, because it knows that Israel would respond violently. Therefore, it chooses the Gulf states, because it knows that these states are against escalation, against expanding the battlefields, and are not supportive of military solutions.
We are facing three adventurers: Iran, Israel, and Hezbollah, with America added to them, in stirring up the calm in the region, worsening crises, creating outlets for endless wars, exhausting the peoples and states of the region economically, and leaving solutions to their problems pending indefinitely, while providing atmospheres and environments that prepare the region to be open to new problems.
This happens despite the fact that solutions are clear, easy, flexible, guarantee the rights of each party, and prevent wars forever. But these parties do not desire that; they have their own interests, goals, and agendas that have created this sustained danger and undermined security and stability.
And everything that is agreed upon is merely a truce, a pause, a review, or a breather for new rounds, keeping the region under the fire of adventurers with suspicious goals, driven by their greed and evil intentions.
And whoever follows the movements of these adventurers realizes from the outset that our region is not promised peace, security, and stability as long as these parties cling to their policies, obstructing the implementation of every agreement they reach, even though every agreement they reach, with its flaws, is a tool to encourage parties to rebel against it and to obstruct the implementation of its provisions, some or all of them.
In summary, everyone is tired, harmed, and has led their countries to hell, waiting for wise people who can act properly and learn from previous lessons and their consequences. But this waiting may be long, and stability may be greatly delayed. So to God we turn with our complaint.
