Japan Coast Guard announces expulsion of two Chinese ships from waters near disputed islands
The Japan Coast Guard announced today that it expelled two Chinese ships from waters near disputed islands.
The Japan Coast Guard said in a statement that it "issued orders to leave... which forced the two Chinese coast guard vessels to leave Japanese territorial waters by 9:20 a.m. today."
The two countries dispute the Senkaku Islands, known in China as Diaoyu.
