A Smile Beating with Hope

As part of its leading humanitarian role, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, continues distributing food aid in Afghanistan under the food security and emergency project for the year 2026.

Afghanistan is one of the countries suffering from severe humanitarian crises due to conflicts and natural disasters, prompting international organizations to intensify relief efforts.

The center distributed 500 food baskets in Mazar-i-Sharif, Balkh, benefiting 3,500 returnees, displaced persons, needy people, and orphans.

This distribution is part of a series of Saudi relief projects aimed at supporting the Afghan people and alleviating their humanitarian suffering.

This aid comes at a time when Afghanistan faces major humanitarian challenges after decades of conflict. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the largest international donors of humanitarian aid in the world.
